A simple little cake made for visiting my father in law (who we don't see very often). Covered and decorated with part MMF, part marzipan (mixed together, we call it marsefond).
I had this christmas tree shaped pan for ages but never used it. So I did this year. For the decorating I started experimenting with royal icing (my first time) and I went a bit overboard. Oh well.... The snowflakes or whatever you want to call them were made seperately and placed on later. The cake is covered with marzipan.
