Well this is another turkey, before I saw all the great ones here! I got the idea from Family Fun.COm White and spice cake. Fondant accents.
Wilton design. Strawerry cake and white cake with whipped cream frosting. I sprayed it with Wilton Color Mist. First time using fondant / figure molding. Nothing wanted to stay attatched. I cracked the fondant putting in the umbrellas. A fun experience. This was before CC!

A red velvet cake with cream cheese bc. The elephant is a FBCT.Made it for church potluck one week.
This head & shoulders are a vegan cake. The chest is french vanilla, Frosted in bc. Used fondant accents (cape, ears, eyes, mouth) Amazing that the colors look soo different in the picture. It was all the same color black. I had lights in the eye sockets. so the eyes glowed. Used lots of disco dust for a cosmic Batman! Many thankx to Sherik and Taralynn for your help!
I copied this cake from Wilton (Not a creative person.) I made fondant "bubbles" instead of gumballs. I also made the hearts out of royal icing. Lots and lots of glitter. Sure wish I would of known about disco dust then....A just for fun cake. That's all my cakes ever are!
Star Wars Mustafar Volcano cake. I got the idea from Cementtruck (google in Mustafar cake). The volcano cake is chocolate with chocolate bc. The 2 satellite cakes are yellow cake swirled with orange dye for more lava effect. Orange frosting is bc. I also used edilbe red, orange, & yellow glitter on top of the orange bc. The large red-orange flames are pastillage. The brown islands are melted chocolate. Used candy melts for the platforms. I also piped flames around each cake, although you can't really see.
