All is edible on this cake except for the players. buttercream, colorflow, fondant, graham cracker crumbs, and rice krispie treats. My 6 year old son *had* to have baseball players on his cake, and thus the theme of the cake was born. It was a lot of fun to make, but I have to say, I do NOT like to work with chocolate MMF. grrr...

My inspiration for this cake was one of my daughter's hair bows. First time covering a cake in fondant. I had a lot of trouble with the chocolate MMF: it was really dry!
My first cupcake cake. I'm pretty proud of it. I had trouble making the buttercream look smooth, but I used the paper towel technique and think it turned out OK. I did the web on the face first, then filled in the colors. Any tips you have for me are welcome!
