Cake is a Zebra style with Vanilla and Chocolate cake filled with Raspberry Buttercream. It was made for a girl who's birthday it was and she had just graduated from design school. It was such a hit that no body wanted to cut it. In fact they almost went out and bought a Grocery store sheet cake for their guests to eat.
This is a Vancouver Canucks Goalie Luongo mask cake that I did for my cousin's birthday...It is completely edible from top to bottom. My first attempt at doing a buttercream transfer onto a character cake molded cake. I am very happy with how it turned out even though its a little off center. I had trouble centering it when I was flipping it over. Oh well, that's why they call it practice.

I got this idea from user: nickdrewnjaysmom. I drew freehand the designs and then made my own cookie cutters to cut them out with. I am soo happy how they turned out and we used them to give out in the goody bags at my son's 12th birthday party.
I molded this skate out of Rice Krispies and covered it in homemade fondant. The recipe for fondant was found on cakejournal.com. It is the best tasting and easiest fondant to make that turns out EVERYTIME!
I made this for my son last week when he turned 12. He is a hockey player that lives and breathes hockey. It turned out alright but I plan to practice to make it better next time. It was my first go with home made chocolate marshmallow fondant.
