My second attempt at color flow, *sigh*. I made about 17 pooh's and only this one survived!
This was my first attempt at a stacked cake. The filling came out the sides a little bit when i put in the dowels, but i was able to smooth it out somewhat with the fondant smoother. Next time I will try the bubble straws.
This is a 9x3 Honey cake with cream cheese filling. Covered in fondant. This was a fun cake to make and I learned how tricky those stripes are!
My kids LOVE the movie so I surprised them with some Dug cookies! They were a big hit at my house.

Just a quick cake I made for our new neighbors. It is a honey WASC cake with cream cheese filling and iced in buttercream. It is supposed to be a "neighborhood" of bird houses in a tree and there is a little bird on the "ground" looking up.
I also had to try one of these cakes. It was so fun! A birthday was being celebrated in the wine country so I served this on a cheese board and with a bottle of wine.
I copied this idea from morganacake. Thank you so much!! I made these for my daughter's preschool class! They were a really big hit. Honey cakeballs mixed with cream cheese filling . Covered in mmf and used royal icing for the mouth, eyes, and water.
My dad loves camping at Camp Curry at Yosemite mountain so I recreated the camp grounds. The pine trees are huge pretzels with the salt scraped off, and ice cream cones that are star tipped. The tent is all fondant ( next time I will use RKT because it weighed like two lbs!) There are mmf squirrels and bears. Cake is covered in mmf. The cake is Rocky road. Chocolate cake with walnuts , marshmallow filling and frosting. This was a lot of fun because it was such a special place to recreate.
I made these cakes for a set of twins and their three year old brother who were all celebrating their birthdays together. The cars are mmf and made from a candy mold. I painted their names and ages on the sides of the cars to look like the sponsors and car number. The road is chocolate fondant that i wove up ,down and around the cakes. Everything is edible except the flags. the grass is buttercream. Thanks for looking. This was fun to make.
It's all cake. I used the Wilton sports ball pan for the head. Square cake used for the body and then shaped . I used two heart shape pans for the wings. Covered in MMF with MMF accents and dusted with pearl dust. I was inspired by mzsweet's photo of her butterfly cake. Thank you so much for posting your pic!
