This cake was for my friend who loves Kurt Cobain. It was suppose to be a replica of his guitar. Well, this didn't turn out as well as I wanted it to. I ran out of time. Wasn't completly happy with the way it turned out....but my friend loved it. So I guess that is all that matters.

I made this cake for my close friends birthday. He likes Harley Davidson. So I made the cakes look like tires. Covered in MMF, with gumpaste flames accents.

Leaves, Pumpkins, And Acorns

Red velvet cake with cream cheese icing/filling. Covered in home made marshmellow fondant, gumpaste leaves and pumpkins.

This cake was fun....I find myself having this strange obsession with piping lately. My hand hurts so bad afterwards though. Cake is covered with homemade marshmellow fondant with buttercream piping.

50Th Anniversary

Yellow cake w/ strawberry filling. This cake gave me lots and lots of troubles. The fondant would roll out big enough. So I had to cover the top and strach it down the sides. Making it thin and showing all the bumps and flaws of the cake. The couple loved it so I guess that is all that matters..

Jungle

yellow and chocolate cake iced with buttercream, and fondant accents. The animals are not edible...I tried however, fondant and gumpaste are the devil and I couldn't figure out how to make the animals. The mother wanted keepsakes so just made them from sculpy. She loved them.

Baby Shower

Yellow cake with lemon filing. All the dots are buttercream icing. Booties are melted candy cover with icing to match the circles.

Iced with buttercream with fondant accents. For 2 year old's birthday.
