Nothing extravagant, but I sure had fun with the sprinkles! I used whipped frosting for this one.
Same concept as the music notes with the piped dark chocolate hearts. I put vanilla frosting in a small pastry bag, then the strawberry in another and finally dropped them into a a big one. This ensures equal dispension of each color.
This was my first attempt with piping melted chocolate. I have done it one other time since then and had better control. **HInt: Pipe a half inch or so extending down from the symbol to stick into the cupcake, so as to expose the whole symbol. Ask me if you need clarification on that. :)
