Tiramisu Layer Cake with Kahlua (non crusting) Buttercream. The idea for this cake was based around the traditional "wood" theme for our 5th anniversary. Wood signifies solidity in the relationship, hence the big tree. The trunk was made from an empty foil roll, covered in fondant. The tree top was 6 styro balls covered in buttercream. Figures were modeled out of gumpaste. This was fun to make, but the cake was a little too moist to support the big tree for long.
8" Vanilla cake torted with lemon pudding and buttercream. Finished in fondant. Everything is edible except for the knitting needles and the push pins.
9" bottom tier, chocolate cake with mint chocolate chip pudding filling. 8" top tier, strawberry cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Frosted with buttercream, accented with fondant.

Made for our New Years party to ring in year 2009. 9" on the bottom, 6" on the top. White cake with vanilla buttercream, finished in fondant. Bubbles in the glasses are buttercream. Everything is edible except for the wires.
Two peas in a pod themed cake for my sister, who is expecting twin girls. White cake filled with fresh strawberry buttercream, finished and accented in fondant.
Made for my niece for the big TEN! Covered in MMF, bridge and other 3D objects are also MMF. Hannah is a frozen buttercream transfer and the scrollwork, stars and text are all buttercream.
