This was my first jersey cake and my first attempt at carving. Vanilla cake with buttercream icing. I made two 9x13 layers; one for the bodice and another for the arms. Covered and decorated with fondant. Lots of fun to make!
Princess and the Frog Crown Cookies
I made this cupcake tower for a Princess and the Frog birthday party.
Baby bottle cookies for a baby shower. Used a very large cookie cutter...will definitely make them smaller next time. This was my first attempt at making cookies. I made them 2 weeks before the shower and froze them. I covered with royal icing a few days before the shower. Label idea inspired by carisa. :-)
This cake was inspired by a design submitted by helipops. I made it for a pink & brown baby shower. This was my first attempt at a fondant cake outside of my Wilton class. Many imperfections but the shower attendants were impressed! :-) [6" and 8" WASC cake]
