This was for a 21st birthday. Cakes are almond semolina and heavenly chocolae. My first time constructing a cake using wine glasses.

6" American chocolate, 8" butter and and 11" almond semolina cake make up thia ensemble.

Blue Roses Wedding Cake

All three tiers were rich fruit cakes - 11", 8" & 6". It was quiet a feat to carry the 11" cake - had to get help from Hercules!

Cake For A Nun

I was cracking my head for a suitable design. I received various suggestions - praying hands and even a doll cake dressed as a nun! I wanted to do something original and came up with this plaque but don't know if I was successful in the 'originality' department! The Nun loved it and I received compliements from those who attended the event. Comments to further improve would be welcome.

Farewell Cake

A cake made for the farewell party of a dear colleague. Moist chocolate cake with fondant and royal icing flowers. Photo taken after cake had been cut into. Not too happy with the way it turned out in the photo. Looked much better 'life!'

Pink Roses

Moist chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing for a 10 year old. Her other tried to persuade her to have a doll cake but this young lady preferred a ake with a host of roses.

Grey, Black & White

Cake for my nephew - who is the singer in the family. White velvet cake with strawberry mousse filling. Frosted and decorated with vanilla buttercream and fondant.

Black, White & Grey

Seeing all the black and white cakes on this site, I was greatly inspired to try my hand at it myself. All done freehand except for the scrolls on the sides. Still a long way to go especially in the 'freehand' zone! Cake: Cotton soft cheesecake with vanilla lemon buttercream

Castle Cake

My first castle cake - for my 11-year old nephew. Could have made it look prettier if it had been for a girl! White velvet cake with buttercream frosting.

Clown Cake

For an eight year old boy who wanted colourful clowns on his birthday cake. Chocolate moist cake with white chocolate ganache on top and chocolate fudge buttercream on sides. Clowns are white chocolate icing - chocolate all around!

Clown Cake

Sponge cake layered with coffee and cream cheese whipped cream icing. The cake is covered in whipped cream with silvered almonds on sides. Clowns were piped using stabilised whipped cream.

Brown On White

Heavenly chocolate cake layered and topped with white chocolate mousse. Decorated using chocolate fudge buttercream.
