1st birthday party with a football theme. All footballs are fondant, the cooler is gumpaste. The ice in the cooler was made with isomalt.
The theme of the baby shower was candy land. Bear is a fondant/tylose mixture. Swirly suckers arealso a fondant/tylose mixture. All other candy is actual candy.
Cake was made using the colors of "Abby Cadabby". I believe an Abby Cadabby topper was going to be put on at the party.

1st birthday cake for a party held at the Houston Zoo. I also included 3 smash cakes for the birthday girls/boys. They were just 1 layer 4" rounds iced in white bc, so I didn't include a picture. The cake is iced in bc, all animals are a fondant/tylose mixture. All animals except the penguin and monkey were cut using cookie cutters and then had details added in. I had to wing it on the penguin and monkey!
Cake was inspired by the baby's bedding and the shower invitations. I used a paper punch tool for the small fleur de lis. It worked really well!

2 tier, 10" and 8" with a 4" castle (so I guess it was 3 tier)! The client supplied the figurines and put them on the cake. It was my first use of my new airbrush to put a shimmer on the pink and blue tiers.
12" round iced in buttercream with piping gel water. The fisherman is gumpaste, the boat is modeling chocolate and all other decorations are fondant. The birthday saying was provided by the client.

Cupcakes with buttercream icing and smash cake for 1st birthday. Footballs were made out of fondant and piped with royal icing. The cooler and baby bottles in the cooler were also made out of fondant. The ice in the cooler was a corn syrup/sugar combo that was brought to about 295 degrees F and poured into small molds and broken up.
The cupcakes were regular sized for the bases with a mini-ball for the top. All were iced in buttercream and covered in fondant. Decorations were fondant with luster dust, royal icing piping and silver dragees.
2 layer 9X13 pan was used for the bed. The bed was iced in buttercream and covered in fondant. The headboard was a cookie iced with royal icing. The monkeys were made out of fondant and the bananas were Runts candy.

3 tier (10, 8, 6) for a 1st birthday party. The theme was ladybug picnic. Cakes are covered in fondant with fondant grass, ladybugs and bumble bees. Gumpaste daisies. The basket was fondant covered with piped royal icing.
Cake was carved and covered in fondant. Shading was done with petal dust. This was my first carved cake!

Cupcakes iced in BC. Tombstone tops have oreo crumb "dirt". Tombstones, bats and ghosts are MMF.
2 tier, covered in fondant. Fence around top tier is piped royal icing, skulls are molded candy. Ghosts and coffin are fondant. Haunted house is color flow.
