So, here's my harley 3d cake. The tank, wheels and seat are RKT. All Satin Ice fondant. Structure make with foam core board, covered in plastic wrap. Engine area is chocolate cake, I started with a 10" square cake. It's not for a lot of people.
RKT fish. Top 2 tiers use the Mad Dadder pans. I love them! I didn't do a larger spacing between the tiers (like you would usually do with topsy cakes) because I liked the straight up kind of look. Satin ice fondant. Paint is done with Americolor gel paste.
Based on the girl's design. Thank goodness I got that circle cutter set! lol She had me put these scavenger hunt clues on the cake. It sounded like a fun party!
The bags are from Hobby Lobby. tissue paper in the bottom of each bag holds the cupcake up high enough. The popcorn is white chocolate covered. It's easy but time consuming. :)

I got a request for this cake on Monday, they couple is eloping and having a little celebration at home with family this weekend. So, here is their simple and easy wedding cake. :)
Hey! This cake is: 4 tiers (chocolate, almond, lemon and vanilla) stacked with 2"tall styrofoam seperators which were covered with satin ribbon. The ribbon flowers were provided by the bride. It's what her bouquet was made from too. Very cute. All satin Ice fondant. It was taken in 2 parts and finished assembly on site.
The cake: All satin ice. The damask was a stencil that I wiped black royal icing over. easy. The stencil I cut using my Cricut. The story: On Friday I got a call from a lady. Her daughter's fiance' just got orders, so they had to rush the wedding so they could marry before he shipped out. They moved it to SAT. Yes. This is a one day advance notice cake. She said "Do what you can, I know it's short notice." The wedding was simple and clean, damask with touches of red. So I made them this cake. :)

This was for one of my wife's coworkers. The lady had a huge party for her son's birthday. They picked the design and we went to town on it. All Satin Ice fonant exepct the plastic figures. Moon is just half of the small ball pan.
There's a little clay thing that is supposed to go on the top, so I left it a little bare. All Satin Ice fondant. The flower was made just layering circles that I thinned with a ball tool.
This is all Satin Ice fondant. Made the K yesterday and it dried in time. The flowers are the press from GSA. :)
14, 12, 10 & 8 rounds. All BC. This is my first all bc wedding cake. I'm sooo used to fondant... anyway, this is what she asked for. no flowers, dripped clocolate and chocolate covered strawberries. She was thrilled with it.
All Satin Ice fondant, even the motorcycle. Gumpaste would have dried too quickly.. or I guess that is: I work too slow to make that out of gumpaste. lol!! :)
