This cake is devil's food with cookies and cream. Very moist and yummy! The flag around the side and the letters were much harder to do than I expected to line everything up, but I am pretty happy with how it came out.

Well this is the end result of the cake I described in the disaster forum. It was supposed to have Winnie the Pooh on top and other fondant figures but they melted so I slapped the fondant disc on top at the last minute. You can see the ridges of the other decorations I had to cover up but oh well. I love the way the stencils came out though...thanks Sugarshack for that idea!
I was told by my mom to make a cake for a post thanksgiving party so I made a spiced carrot cake with white chocolate cream cheese frosting. My mom called 10 minutes before I left to say it needed to be a b-day cake for my son and another baby girl who were both turning one. Last minute BC decorations.
This is my first attempt at BC decorating. The figures were much harder than I expected! The frosting was not supposed to be smotth so it looked like a meadow.
This is my second cake. It is all the dreaded star tip (I really hate that tip after this!). I used fondant for the seaweed and fishes,but the rest is BC.
This is the first fondant work I have ever done. I went for bright colors just so I could see how it would all come out and I figured it would hide the flaws better. The 3 colored flowers were made by another girl in class so I can't take credit for those.
