Pretty With Pink And Green
AHHHHHH!!!! Humidity killed me on this one...my poor cake looked like someone had doused it with water and the fondant was sliding down...forgot the temp was rising here and hadn't turned on air...patched up and delivered...customer was happy...I was stressed! Covered in buttercream with fondant accents. TFL!

Rascal Flatts
I was honored to do this cake for Rascal Flatts to celebrate their 10 years of success when they were here in KC in Feb. It went into their dressing room! My only regret was the darn blue butter cream...what was I thinking...blue mouths? Thank goodness it was eaten after the concert. Lots of Blue mouth jokes. LOL..was going to do fondant but I like to keep it buttercream if I can for taste...just didn't think it all the way through...too excited! The guys loved it! The picture is of it in the kitchen at the event center before we took it back. TFL!

Amazing Artist!
This birthday cake was made for an amazing aspiring artist. It was for her 17th birthday and a patial surprise from her parents to showcase some of her artwork! She knew she was getting an art cake but did not know some of her artwork would be on it. She requested paint dripping down the sides...I decided to add the tubes of paint, pallet and brushes along with the edible images which I framed out in fondant/gumpaste. The cake is covered in buttercream with fondant accents! TFL!!

Backfire Bbq / Orange County Choppers
The pic isn't great, but I wanted to get something on here(I will recieve better ones from the media photos later)....I was challenged with this one and learned so much from doing it. I had a little trouble getting it leveled when I was putting it back together at the resteraunt...thus the blob of fondant under the top tier...I could of done that a little more creatively I am sure. I was approached about doing this cake for Paul Tuetul Sr. From OCC and Steve Schussler, the creator of places like Rain Forrest Cafe. The cake was for the Grand opening of their resteraunt Backfire BBQ here locally. I almost didn't do it but I am glad I did...it was a little stressful for me and really pushed me but soooo worth it! Thanks Indydebi for answering some questions for me. Not a perfect cake, but the experience was very rewarding! And of course I wanted to have so much more detail on it then Icould get done....time just ran out! LOL Let me know what you all think! TFL!!!!

Jukebox
This one was soooo much fun to do! Of course there are things I would do different with the next one...that seems to be how it goes with the first, yu kinda experiment and then the next ones just get even better! i started out with 3 9x13. Cut in half. stacked. Semi-froze, carved with an electric knife ( cake flying everywhere...lol). Decorated! Like I said...sooo much fun. I would of loved to put sng titles on the tabs and records...thought of that too late. The customer LOVED it! TFL :)
