I was just goofing around and doing some practice work. The stars are from my first batch of MMF (and taste yummy). Was too impatient to wait for my buttercream to crust well enough to smooth.
Course 3 Class 2 my "present" cake with fondant. The bows are actually purple but the photo makes them look blue.
Here's my first decorated cake from Wilton Course 1. Before I started these classes, I had never decorated a cake and would just glob frosting (canned) on a cake. I like this much better! Notice how my shell border fell off the backside of the cake. I think it's because I put the border on the side of the cake instead of the top. I was just so excited I was finally getting the shell. I wasn't happy with the sweet peas but they didn't look too bad once I added the stem.
