Birthday/christmas Cake
I made this cake for my friends daughters 3rd birthday in December. She loves snowmen so I decided to make a stand up snowman cake. The cake was made from a 3d bear cake pan (trimmed up of course). The bottom cakes were two 9" round cake pans. I made the hat, broom tip, nose, and birthday sign out of fondant. The broom handle was made from a pretzel rod. The Pipe was made from a marshmallow dipped in toasted coconut, and the handle was a lollipop stick dipped in blacked tinted vanilla. The snowballs were made from marshmallow fondant rolled in coconut. I also sprinkled the cake in edible sparkles but you can't tell from the pic. I had frun doing this cake but it took me a few days to do and dry the fondant. My friend was truely amazed at the cake and sent me a thank you card!

Bowling Pin And Balls
I made this cake for my nephews 4th birthday he had at the bowling alley. I used pound cake (because it's easier to work with), and Pilsbury Very White icing. For the red stripes I used cut in half Fruit by the Foot. I made the cupcakes to look like bowling balls and put 3 jelly beans on them to look like finger holes. I used two boxes of pound cake and used a 9x13 pan and cut a bowling pin shape out of that. Before I iced the cake I put the 9x13 in the freezer for 30 minutes to make it easier to cut and less crumbs when icing
