Here is my first Grooms Cake. Again....lots of lessons learned on this one. First and foremost is don't get Strawberries from Publix! Second,don't do a Chocolate strawberry cake when Strawberries aren't in season..........then of course lots of other lessons learned too!
I attemted to copy a cake I saw on here before. I don't remember whose it was. but I wasn't very successful with the coloring. I have yet to master the coloring part......any suggestions?
Well here is my first wedding cake. Good thing it was for a family member. I think it turned out good for a first time cake. I learned alot of lessons along th3e way and I don't think I'll be doing another one for a while. It was a lot of work1
I made this cake as a practice square cake. The cake is white cake, a recipe I got from cake central.....only has 8 ingrediants, don't remember whose it was. But its awesome. Frosting is of course buttercream.

I was asked to make my husbands, cousins wedding cake in September so I am using Mothers Day as a day to practice. Its butter cream with the viva icing method and cornelli lace. I'm going to be putting some kind of flower on top later.

Ok...this is my very first cake ever.........other than your typical duncan hines or betty crocker cake with store bought icing. I made ALL the ingrediants myself with the use of my Kitchen Aide mixer my wonderful husband got me for Christmas!!! I learned a lot of lessons along the way! I can't wait to make another one!
