Thanksgiving Leaves
This was for my family! We are from up north but now live down south so we don't see the beautiful Fall leaves anymore. 2 7" and 1 8", stacked, carved, and covered with fondant. Wood planks are F/G. Half were painted with food coloring and other 1/2 with painted with food coloring and then scraped with a woodgrain tool. I put those on the outside. I didn't want those to get covered up. Leaves were gumpaste and airbrushed. Sign was gumpaste as well.

3-D Standing Horse Cake
Thanks Koula and jesus-saves-us-7 for your inspirations and to my husband for building the structure! This horse is about 22" tall, from hooves to top of head, about 15" long from shoulders to backside and about 8" wide at the widest part (belly). Neck came out too short, husband went out of town, couldn't adjust it so I had to go with it. Head and shoulders are RKT and rest of the body are two 9x13s, stacked, carved and covered with 50/50 fondant and modeling chocolate. Mane is fondant. Added modeling chocolate to legs and under the belly, then wrapped in fondant mixture. Haystack is cake covered with fondant. Tennis ball is RKT, covered with fondant. B-day girl wanted a tennis ball.

3-D Helicopter Cake
The body and tail are cake! Used two 9 x 13, stacked, carved, covered with fondant. Cake ended up being about 22' long. Cake is elevated on landing gear. Landing gear are dowels. Cake is on a 1/2" thick wooden board. Then that board is screwed into dowels(landing gear) that are then screwed into the cake board, which is also a 1/2" thick wooden board. Cake board is covered with fondant and then I airbrushed clouds. I also gave some of the clouds texture. Propellers are NOT edible. They are wood.

Candles Of Kings
My mom wanted a cake to represent "The Three Kings". That's why there is a crown, the Star of Bethlehem is in the middle of the crown and then each candle represents a king. Cakes are 3 1/2" round and wrapped with fondant. Candles are tealight candles. "Wax" is melted chocolate. Crown is gumpaste. Jewels were made with isomalt sticks. The guests at her party didn't know it was a cake until I started cutting it. One person actually lit a candle because it went out!

3-D Christmas Tree
9", 8", 7", 6", 5" carved. For the top of the tree, I used the scrapes to make into a cone shaped cake ball. Iced, then covered cake in sections with modeling chocolate that I made with green candy melts. I added more green coloring to the chocolate to get a darker green. I then made tons of lines with a vining tool and then cut the tree has I do when I make small trees. Garland is pearl strings, ornaments are balls of fondant rolled in luster dust, ribbon and 3-d gifts are F/G. Cake is on a 7" round foam covered w/fondant and then applied 2-D gifts. All is airbrushed with luster dust and then sprinkled with Disco dust. Lights are individual, battery operated, from Micheal's in wedding section.

Baby Carriage
This was a lot harder than I thought! Cake is off the cake board; it's on a wood board, the wood board is screwed to dowels that are attached to the cake board. Cake is 2 9x13. For some height, I used 2" high foam. I put the cake on the foam and carved. Covered with fondant and deco is F/G. The top of the carriage, I used 12 gauge floral wires. The baby and pillow are RKT & F/G. The side of the handle bars are cut cardboard covered with F/G and the middle bar is a skewer cover in fondant. The wheels are cake boards covered with F/G & attached to the carriage with RI.

Fire Truck
11x15, stacked and then cut in half to make 5 x14. Then the front of the truck was cut into 5x5 and the back into 5x9. The sliver middle, in between the truck, is a 2" foam block. All is covered with fondant and the accents are F/G. The cake is not on the sliver board. I put the cake on a thin wood board. Then the thin wood board is on 6 1x1 wooden dowels that are hot glued to the sliver board. This gives the appearance that the Fire Truck is standing on the tires.
