MMF covered. Top tier white with buttercream "moss". Bottom tier made to look like a terracotta pot with Buttercream "dirt, moss, mildew, and cracks." MMF flowers (tinted Golden Yellow then painted with Aztec Gold Luster Dust), Buttercream leaves. Funny note: This was a thank you cake for the staff at an elementary school. My customer reported back to me that one teacher yelled at the person about to cut the cake because she thought it was a real terracotta pot! :)
The battle over the mystical red ruby (which belongs to the clan of the fire dragons) has been long and hard. This fire dragon rescued the jewel from a water dragon. He believes the water dragon to be conquered so he collapses upon the rocks - spewing flames in every direction - in an attempt to regain some strength before returning to his land. Suddenly, the water dragon reaches from below the surface of the sea and grabs the tail of the fire dragon! The battle is NOT over! Who will win?

Vert. 6" rounds cut in half(ish) with black chocolate MMF over lime green MMF & luster dust lettering.
All MMF except color flow "blades". Complete with cobblestone base. Had to use some non-sugar items for construction because of heat & humidity issues.
Idea is from the Wilton 2010 Yearbook, page 35. I changed the "meat" to chocolate RKT. It was easier than what I read in the directions.
The reaper looks a bit "off" because it fell apart. His sign says "Welcome to MY side of the Hill!" Half of the "hill" is white "grass", the reaper's half is black "grass". BC on cake, MMF reaper (will do gum paste next time!)

Each tier covered with MMF...the bottom one sagged (HOT DAY!). One tier surrounded with GP name plates of each student. Books & stars are GP...Grad Caps & Apples are MMF.

Mostly fondand and gum paste. Turret is carved styrofoam. The large gun had a real mini fountain firework in it which we lit instead of candles.
