Thomas The Train Cake

Made this one for my nephew's 5th birthday. It's my third cake ever and it was so much work! I used the Wilton train pan for the engine and loaf pans for the cargo cars. Thomas's face is fondant, as well as the track, sides of the cars and the rocks. The engine was vanilla, the middle car was strawberry and the last was chocolate with mini twix as the cargo. Took forever to make but it was well worth the expression on his face when he saw it.

My 1St Cake

I've been looking at this website for a while and thought I'd finally try to make a cake for Thanksgiving in hopes of impressing my family. Cake is 4 layers, orange and coconut, with orange buttercream icing. Tasted pretty good and I'm moderately happy with the way it turned out being that it was my 1st time baking a cake. Can't wait to try another.
