My daughter's friend wanted her dog (a brittany spaniel) to be made into a Webkinz and put on her birthday cake. The little one was made of fondant.
7x11" cake trimmed to purse shape and iced with buttercream. Pattern was drawn on cake and filled in with chocolate buttercream. Pink fondant trim and handle with 2 little gold dragees! This cake was a major pain and took forever, but it turned out pretty cool!
8"-6" double layer square cakes iced with buttercream. Cobblestone impression mat used on walls. Turrets are paper towel rolls covered in fondant and rolled on cobblestone impression mat.

This was my entry in the 2008 Capital Confectioners Cake and Sugar Art Show in Austin, TX. Everything was hand-made from fondant and gumpaste. It won 2nd place in my division for Novelty/Tiered cakes.
