Well here it is! I really enjoyed making all the roses.
This is my 9 year old daughters course 2 final cake. She choose the colors, and did ALL the basket weaving by herself. I helped with the bird and the pansies. She choose the colors herself- very creative. :o) Im very proud to be her mom.
My neice just had a new baby sister, and so I made her a cake!! I practice at every opportunity. It was the first time making royal icing for me, it's not as difficult as I thought it would be. TFL!!
This is my course 1 final cake- I made it at home, not in class. The drop flowers on the bottom have some striping. My BC for the roses was a little stiff, so I have some rippling on the petals. Practice mkes perfect though so I'm gonna keep it up!
This is my second fondant cake, I made it for my brother and sister-in-law's anniversary. His fav. color is purple, and her favorite thing is grapes! I brushed the shimmer dust on the cake, but I really didnt know how to use it. I just wanted it to sparkle!! Any tips are greatly appreciated!
