Strawberries Galore

Pound cake with Strawberry SMBC, fresh strawberries in filling as well. Love the SMBC, first time I've made it. I am really happy with this cake but I don't for the life of me know how to tie a bow properly (especially with ribbon this thin). Hope everyone likes it tomorrow.

Mars Bar Cheesecake

My own recipe for a Mars Bar cheesecake. This is absolutely devine. I was a little upset about the chocolate borders because they cracked and chipped off on the way into work. Does anyone know how to keep them from cracking during transportation?

Brazil Cake

I was a little frustrated because I didn't let my frosting chill a little so my shell patterns ended up flattened out. It's a carrot cake with cream cheese and pecan filling and cream cheese frosting. My DH is a mad soccer fanatic and Brazil is his favourite team. Can't wait to see his face when he sees this, he's going to love it!!!

First Attempt At Cornelli Lace

I've been wanting to try this for so long but for some reason was too scared to do it. But I did eventually try and it was so much fun and a lot easier than I thought!! I don't have the luxury of a Wilton school anywhere near here (Australia) so I can only go off books and pictures. I thought it turned out pretty good for my first go!!!

My First Attempt At Cake Balls

Thanks to the great article here on CC I was inspired to try my hand at making cake balls. I love the way they turned out. Haven't tried them yet but I will tomorrow ;-). They are pound cake with cream cheese and pecan frosting, hazlenut coffee flavouring and BC.

Santa & Toy Bag On Roller Coaster

OK, so I finally did it!! I made a 3D cake from scratch. No pans or anything!! It's a pound cake with cream cheese and pecan filling and MMF icing and accents. I have been wanting to do a roller coaster cake for a little while and, although it's not perfect I'm glad I gave it a go!!

Christmas Tree

This is the first non round / rectangle cake that I've made. I'm not too happy with it but I guess for a first timer with no experience it's OK.

OK, so originally I made a cake for my colleague's wife on the 16th November but later realised that there was a mis-communication with the date and it should have actually been the 16th of December!! Oh well, here is the cake that I am going to give him tomorrow! It's a Chocolate Fudge Cake as she loves Chocolate (don't we all heehee ;-)) By the way, the writing is horrible becuase 1. It's the first time I've written with BC and 2. The consistency was too stiff and it kept breaking.

My Second Cake!!

OK I know it's not anywhere near as good as ANY other cake here but I'm just having so much fun piping (this was my second go at a piping bag) that I couldn't help it. It was actually for my own birthday so I just had fun with it. (I accidently deleted the original one on here and just thought I'd upload it again)!

I made this as a sample for my DH's friends. I've only just started in the biz so I'm trying to get my name out there any way I can. It's a carrot cake and it's the most delicious recipe I've made to date. So far this week I've made four of this type of cake!!

Carrot Cake

Carrot cake order for a colleague's father's birthday tomorrow. I made the carrots out of MMF which was pink initially as I could only get the mixed pink and white marshmallow's. I also made a second cake for ourselves exactly like this minus the decorations and it tasted absolutely amazing!!

I made a Chocolate Cherry Cake for a colleague's birthday. I got the idea from CC. Also, it's my first attempt at flower making. I made them with Starburst lollies, again thanks to CC'ers who help us who know nothing by graciously giving us their tips!!
