Golf Ball Groom's Cake
Golf ball on the green (1/2 sheet). Fairly simple. To make dimples in the ball, use the clean rounded end of a large paint brush, dipping in hot water between every 2-3 dimples. That took a bit of experimenting but worked out fine in the end. Use dowels to secure . . . mine was pretty rocky. Groom's table was decorated with customized golf balls---too cute.

Elephant
This is the largest cake I've ever done. A baby elephant lying on his belly with his cute curly tail in the back, little feet splayed out, large ears and a darling trunk! Ears are cardboard covered in fondant. Various fondant accents and buttercream. Script on cake board. This cake was HEAVY and served 100.

Care Bears On Cloud 9
This is by far my biggest feat yet and I love it. My structural engineer sister was in town (thank God!) and saved the day. The 2 cakes are connected by way of a suspended rainbow supported by thin skewers. The rainbow touched the cake minimally. I could not BELIEVE how it turned out. Thanks to my sister, I created a master piece. I told her, "You make it sturdy, I'll make it pretty." My all-time favorite cake.
