Slumber Party Cupcakes
This idea was from the Hello Cupcake book. These were for a 3 year olds "almost" slumber party. I made 24 cupcakes and used airheads and starburst for the blankets, marshmallows for the bodies and pillows, mini Nilla wafers for the faces with buttercream details, and teddy grahams and gummies for the bears. They turned out great, but were time consuming.

Volunteer Cake
This is the biggest cake I've made. It was for a volunteer banquet at my church. It's far from perfect but I learned a lot and feel better prepared if I were ever asked to do a wedding cake (which I hope I'm not, atleast in the near future). This was also the first time to do a loopy bow. The tiers were a 14" square, 12" circle, and 8" square. All buttercream.

Cowgirl Cake
This was for a 1st birthday. It was inspired by several cakes here on CC. It was a 6" 2 layer on top of 8" 2 layer, buttercream icing over all, with fondant cow spots and fondant rope. Looking back on it, I didn't pat down the tips of my dots which bugs me but overall I was pleased with the result!

Baby Carriage
This was inspired from a Wilton project idea. I used the sports ball pan and iced in buttercream. The wheels were Pepperidge farm cookies dipped in white almond bark. I should have used a denser cake ( I used boxed chocolate) because during transportation the top fell off the bottom half (it wasn't doweled--don't know what I was thinking) Anyway, it was a free cake for my bunco group so I just put it back together and touched it up and they all raved about it saying they couldn't tell it had come apart

Hello Kitty
This is a hello kitty cake. The face was a 10 inch circle, with a little cut off to make the face more oval. The ears were cut out of another cake . It is covered with buttercream icing, with chocolate covered raisins for the eyes, a gummy saver for the nose, and black licorice for the whiskers.

Barnyad Cake
Made for my son's 2nd birthday party. It did have a silo on it but when I worke up the next morning, it had fallen over so I had to do some doctoring and put the tractor over the area--no one even knew. This was my first attempt at fondant animals, with help from member here at CC. If I make it again and try the silo, I would definitely do a two layer cake.
