CSM: This was made for my DH's family reunion. Everyone loved it :) The only thing I didn't really like about it was the blue writing on the scroll (the food marker was a much darker color than the "ink"-very deceiving). My first time doing wood grain, and I'm hooked. I love this effect!

CSM. Snickerdoodle cake with cinnamon BC. I painted the cornelli lace and the tips of the roses with gold luster dust to give it more of a Faberge egg type feel.

This was made for my friend's daughter's 1st birthday. Unfortunately, my BC started melting on me, so it didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. First time making fondant figures (happy with those!).
I combined a couple of different designs that I liked for this look. The top of each tier is covered in cornelli lace (looks a little fuzzy bc I had to enlarge to show detail). All BC with votives and silk roses/petals. Cake 2 of 2 for upcoming bridal show.

Piped royal icing snowflakes. Chocolate cake with banana filling covered in BC. And the glitter fairy came with silver glitter instead of white :(

This was made for my husband's aunt for a small surprise wedding reception (they got married in Gatlinburg, TN and we live in OH). Pumpkin spice cake with pumpkin cream cheese filling and chocolate cake with chocolate chocolate chip filling. Covered with BC and silk leaves.
This was made for my brother's wedding. My very first wedding cake! :) Carrot cake wtih cream cheese filling, chocolate cake with raspberry filling, white cake with strawberry filling, and yellow cake with chocolate hazelnut filling. Covered with fondant (Wilton-NEVER AGAIN!!) and BC scroll work.
This cake was made for my son's 1st birthday. It was my first attempt at a 3D cake. I don't think I did too shabby considering my firsts: 1st time using MMF, first 3D cake, first time carving RKT. It was a learning experience to be sure! many thanks to DebBTX for inspiration and helpful tips!
