I got this idea from Lu9129 here on CC. I made it for my pastor's birthday. It's a white cake with fondant glass and rock candy ice and poured Dr. Pepper. I think I made the poured Dr. Pepper part too long but everyone loved it! I would love to do this cake again at anytime.

This was my entry for the one tier capital confectioners beginner category in Austin. I was pretty happy with it. I brought ribbon to put around the edge of the board but forgot scissors to cut the ribbon! There's more roses hidden under the royal icing dome on top. This is my second dome. The first one was much bigger and easier to see the roses inside but my DH broke the first dome trying to palm it like a basketball.

Neopolitan cake with chocolate syrup filling. Buttercream icing with fondant accents and a store bought Dora. It was so humid here that the buttercream icing on the borromt layer melted. I have never had so much trouble with buttercream as I did that night. It was a nightmare.
