This cake was made for a 4th birthday. The shoot cake was frosted in buttercream with the pond made by dying piping gel blue. The fish are made from fondant and jumping out of water by water. Both trees and Thomas are made of fondant.

Elmo 2Nd Birthday

This cake was done for twin girls who are in love with elmo. The parents wanted each of them to have their own individual cake. The cakes was covered in buttercream with buttercream grass and clouds. Then I made a rug on top for elmo and the presents to sit on all made out of fondant. Around the sides of the cake there were bumblebees and ladybugs also out of fondant. The name signs on the front were made to look like the Sesame Street sign. The ballons were made out of fondant pushed on wire.

50Th Birthday

This cake was done for a 50th birthday. The person who it was for is both a farmer and part time worker so it is often when we come to his house that we find him in this position-sleeping in the recliner with the remote on his lap. I made a semi-replica of his living room. Then around the sides I added the farm scene with his international tractor and corn to show his true passion. I was very happy with the final result.

First Birthday!

This cake was made for a little girls first birthday. The birthday girl had her own individual cake to dive into. They were both covered in buttercream with fondant accents. It was a garden them so the bottom layer had a white picket fence with flowers, and the top layer was butterflies. Then there were lady bugs, snails, and bumble bees added. There are bumble bees sticking off the top by using wire that was twisted. The one was added once the cake was delivered.

First Wedding Cake!

The bride saw a picture online of a cake that looked like tile and that is what she wanted. The cake is covered in buttercream with irregular shaped fondant pieces placed on it to look like tile. Luster dust was then added to the tile to give it a glaze look.

These figures were made out of gumpaste and put on top of a bridal shower cake. The bride has twin girls, one with red hair and one with brown, and they turned out adorable!

Bridal Shower

This cake was made for a bridal shower where the lady getting married had two twin girls, one with red hair and one with brown. So the cake is covered with chocolate buttercream with buttercream dots on the side and edges. It then has fondant orange daisies, and topped with people made out of gumpaste.

The bride did not want a cake so we chose to do cupcakes instead for the shower. They are each individually covered with lime green or hot pink buttercream and sprinkles. Each cupcake had a topper made out of fondant. In this picture you can see the toppers that are individual flowers. I also made brides dresses, bridesmaid dresses, engagement rings, and bouquets.

The bride did not want cake for her shower so we did cupcakes instead. They are frosted with lime green and hot pink buttercream, and each cupcake has a little topped made out of fondant. This picture shows the white wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses that were hot pink and lime green, and also the engagment rings which actually stand up. I also made flower bouquets and individual flowers.

This was a three tiered cake made for a 21st birthday. Each layer is covered with colored fondantwith the middle tier covered in sparkling pink sugar. The girl on top is made from gumpaste and is holding a martini glass.

Baptism cake for a little girl. The cake is covered in buttercream with imprinted diamond pattern along the side. The christening dress is made from fondant with accent pieces covered in luster dust. The circle that the name is on, cross, daisys, and round balls on edge are also all made out of fondant.

Chicago Cubs Cake

Chicago Cubs Birthday cake made by covering a sheet cake in buttercream and fondant accents. The hat is a large dome cake covered in fondant, and the Wrigley Field sign is also made with fondant with hand piping. The base line is made from Vanilla Wafers.
