Inspired by a gorgeous cake by sugarshack. DH cake mix, BC covered in MMF with MMF accents. BC border (really crooked, I know). How does everyone keep their fondant so clean and not covered in powdered sugar?
This was my first fondant covered cake. It's a 3-tier "topsy-turvy" cake covered in blue marbled fondant to resemble the sky. Green grass blades hide colorful Easter eggs and the Easter Bunny on the bottom tier. On the top are two white clouds covered in shimmer dust with a butterfly in front. This was for my mom's 55th birthday, which was around Easter.
