This is my first wedding cake and it was very nerve racking. Looked beautiful on my dining room table, then we had to transport it and it started to shift as soon as my dad and hubby picked it up and one of them put thier finger in it. I thought I was going to have a nervous break down before we got there and when we did I cried so hard. The reason for all the flowers was it was leaning and by putting on more flowers than I had originally planned it did even it out, but it really took away from all of the scroll work. This was for my neice, and I was honored that she asked me to make her cake but I was just so upset it was not as I was hoping, but I guess it is not to bad for my first wedding cake.
Made this for my husband to take to work tom for a co-worker going to a different branch within the company he is a huge K-State fan.

This is a cake for my step daughters b-day. It is a three layer chocolate cake with BC with gumpaste accents. I feel that this could be much better but I am satisfied that it is staying up and that it is finally done it seemed to take me forever. This is my Second attempt at a cupcake bouquet and two more to go. I am thinking that a plastic flower pot or a pail might work better than terra cotta due to fingerprints being on the pot (probably wear gloves next time). I am happy with the way this turned out even though they still need a little work. Mini cupcakes with BC. All comments and suggestions welcome!!!
