I just came across some old photos, I had made this cake years ago. I didn't realise at the time how beautiful it was. I love the rose and the buds and the shades of dust (pearl dust) I had used. I think I had designed it very well and also the colour scheme was so pretty.
Had promised my daughter to make her exactly the same cake that was in her favourite book. Thanks God it was a very easy one and we had only what was in the book, like sweets, jelly, sandwiches etc
Made this with my girls just for fun and to cheer them up. They loved it. Light sponge with fresh cream.
Made this for my wonderful hubby on father's day for being the best dad. It was a rich, moist and beautiful cake layered with light fresh cream one can die for. He loved it.

The picture doesn't do this cake any justice. It was a very pretty sparkling cake with loads of edible glitter for my princess' birthday. She is 5 now and still crazy about pink.
My little girl, 3 years old, helped me with these spiders. We made them from left overs of a spiderman cake. Once finished and she had a chance to look at them (was too busy making them) she got so scared that she screamed and run away. But the birthday boy was very delighted to have spiders with his spiderman cake.
Delicious moist sponge cake layered with strawberry jam. The roses are made of three parts sugar past and one part flower paste. I designed it for my beautiful daughter but you can make it for 'your' loved one to cheer her/him out.
It looked lovlier than the picture, the decoration on top was made of flower paste and then varnished with edible varnish. It really looked real. I had double piped Merry Christmas on top with no. 2 and no. 1 nozzles (unfortunately not visible in this photo).

this was my first royal icing experience. After that I have decorated only one more cake with royal icing.
I really found it hard to find the idea for this cake (i didn't know about this website at that time) I made some scary spiders from the left overs. And the little birthday boy loved it.
well a difficult cake to make. I think I underestimated the amount of work it required. It took me three days to finish the butterflies only, It had beautiul little daisies that we can't see in this picture. It was beautiful cake and cheered a wonderful girl up.
it was a sponge cake with jam and buttercream filling. the bows were made of gum paste. I made this for my hubby on his birthday.
I have to admit that I can't wrok with buttercream. I worked very hard to get the cake to the final stage the roses were made of royal icing though. Made it for a charity raffle prize.
I made this cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. She loves teddy bears and loves to sing the teddy picnic song. I knew that she'd love to have such a cake and I was right :-)
Moist sponge layered with jam and butter cream covered with marzipan and suger-paste. Made it for my idol, my mother, on mother's day.
