Birthday cookies for my niece, she is turning 5 :). NFSC, Fondant, Antonia's R.I. and glitter dust for detail. These were so fun to make, my first try with glitter dust...so easy! Thanks to everyone for the inspiration!
I know that it is still winter, but I wanted to make something pretty and sunny for a friend's Birthday. My first use of fondant and I was surprised at how easy it was! I admit it, all I had ever used before was royal and I was intimidated, not any more :). The NFSC with Fondant and Antonia's Royal for details. I know that the monogram is a bit bumpy but for my first try I am happy that I didn't throw it out a window..hahaha. For those that do monograms on a regular basis, I applaud you!

Martha Stewart's gingerbread recipe with Antonia 74 icing, the idea came a bit from my own head as well as all of the others on this site that I am humbly learning from :). Here is my third attempt at decorating, I was pleasantly surprised :D. It is a design out of the Wilton Beginner's Guide with anolther layer added for dimension. My daughter loved it :). Wilton Buttercream recipe, strawberry malt balls, sugar and regular ice cream cones, buttercream and mini m & m's in filling.
O.K., now you can really see that I am new to this. I had a ton of fun though :).
