Kilted Cookies!
I made a bunch of these for a raffle at a Scottich Highland games! NFSC with glace icing! The logo on the shirt is the same logo on the t-shirts the athletes will be wearing during competition. Thanks to aine2 for her tutorial on making plaid! I modified it a bit, but she made it look so easy, I had to try!

Yin/yang Brush Embroidery
A client loved my black and white contrast cake, so they requested it in their wedding colors and flowers. It seemed a bit dark, but I really liked the end result! They wanted buttercream frosting covering the whole cake, which gave me some fits, but it turned out okay. I painted/ spray painted the black and red undertones, then used black and red buttercream for the brush embroidery roses! My camera ran out of battery while I was there, so I have cell phone pictures... Thanks for looking!

Puzzle Cookie!
I made this for the family gift exchange this year. There's always something that hardly anyone wants, usually a puzzle of a covered bridge or some such thing (lots of guys in the exchange), so I decided to make a delectable puzzle no one could resist! NFSC with glace and buttercream icing, and colored sugar. Thanks for looking! :D

Gelatin Butterflies
This is my first try at making gelatin accents for cakes! I used plain gelatin for the butterflies and painted them with luster dust and gel colors. I used lime jello for the leaves and grass, with floral wire for the stems of the leaves. I made the white petunias of cream cheese fondant, and painted with luster dust. The cake is "Chocolate Covered Cherry" - chocolate cake with creamy maraschino cherry filling and chocolate cream cheese fondant! (Recipient's favorite colors, flowers and candy incorporated into cake design and flavor!)

Owl Eyes!
After making my other cute little owl sugar cookies, I decided to try a different take on owls! I used my small scalloped round cutter for the eyes, and just free-hand cut the little diamonds for the beak and feather tufts. I iced with Toba Garrett's Glace, and used chocolate caramel swirl chips for the eyes! Hope you like them!
