I made this cake for my office Halloween party. I used a piping gel transfer for the shape of the pumpkin, and free-handed the rest. I covered the sides of the cake with more scroll-work and sweet-pea flowers, and did a green shell border along the bottom.
Here is the template I made for my first cake class. I did a piping gel transfer of the outlines, traced over them, then changed tips and filled it all in with stars.
This is my final cake from my first Fondant and Gumpaste class, but since it's a Christmas theme I decided to put it here instead of in the first cake class area. Those are silver and gold dragees running down the ribbon, and pink ones in the center berries.
