A woman ordered this cake from me--she bought the pan and wanted her boyfriend's face instead of Superman's. I made his face as a frozen buttercream transfer, and did the rest of the cake covered in stars. I had to sort of guess where the outlines went, as I couldn't see them when the cake was baked. They loved it!

This is a trial run for a cake I'm making for my uncle who got in a bad snomobile accident. This is my first time using the bear pan and making chocolate buttercream [hence, the trial run!]. Wilton 3D Stand Up Bear Pan decorated with chocolate and regular buttercream--he has a band-aid, a cast [names are those of my family and boyfriend], and those weird hospital slipper sock thingys!
There were 60 peach rose cupcakes and 15 "special" blue roses with a sparkle dust and candle made for my grandma's birthday. So 75 cupcakes total. These photos were taken with my cellphone, so apologies for the poor quality!

I think this is the right gallery section to post this in... I made up this "tutorial" for a friend on flickr. It's the year of the rat for Chinese New Year, and she didn't know how to make one, so I made one for her!

Cactus, hat, cow skull, and bow are all hand molded from fondant. My aunt ordered this cake for my grandma for Christmas, but my grandma decided she wanted it for New Years, but my aunt still said it had to be Christmas themed....ah...my craaaazy family...
I was asked to make this cake for a friend of my grandma's. It was supposed to be for January, when their 44th anniversary is, but sadly the woman is in the hospital and is supposedly in bad shape.

This cake was for my brother's girlfriend's niece. I messed up SO much of it I was about crying. They liked it though...which is what matters I guess. It's chocolate [and dark chocolate] cake with raspberry buttercream. I'm FINALLY getting better at the borders and bc roses though!
