Lexus Car Cake

OMG! My first car cake. I spent hours on this cake. I immediately did another one right behind this one though , and it went much faster. I took a picture of the side of the car and placed it next to my stacked (2) 1/4 sheet cakes. I carved the cake by just cutting around the picture. It's a wasc cake covered with mmf and mmf accents.TFL

Classroom Cake

Hello Kitty Zombie Cake

I used the Wilton stand up bear cake pan, wasc recipe and covered it in mmf. The tombstone is a rice krispie treat and flies and maggots are 50/50 gumpaste / fondant. My first use of the bear pan and first attempt at making a zombie!

Shoe Box Cake ...side View

I hated to post another picture of this cake, but I wanted to show the box label on the end of the cake. I worked hard on it. I thought it was cute. It said "Happy Birthday " and had the ladies names on it. It also had the son and his fiance' s name on it who gave the mom and grandmother the cake.

Thanks to the shoe tutorial on CC, I was able to pull this cake off. I have never made a shoe and my next one will be beter, but it was a lot of fun. This cake was made for a mom and grandmother whose birthdays were only 2 days apart. They loved the cake. That's all that matters! ;-)

My First Wedding Cake

This is my first wedding cake that I did for a friend in January. The groom wanted the chocolate cigarellos and the bride wanted the little blue flowers and this is what we came up with. They loved the cake, but I would do things differently next time. I learned a lot doing this cake. Can't wait 'til the next one!
