Golfcake3.jpg
This is the front of the golf cake I made for my bf for his bday. It was my first stacked cake as well as the first time I used the Wilton Sports ball pan. I'm really happy with it. The frosting is BC and the golf tees and cigar are fondant (my bf always has a cigar on the course and throws it down on the ground while hitting)

Roses.jpg
So I've been playing around with fondant/gumpaste roses. I found a few different tutorials so there are a few different methods employed here. These are from the past two days.....Atleast they'll be ready when I need them and what was that old adage? "Practice....practice...practice." So that's what I'm doing.

Wintercensored.jpg
This is the censored version of a cake I had in the Naughty section. I don't think there was enough naughty for it to belong there, so I gave the girl a bikini. I made this for a charity bake sale over the weekend. The bottom was chocolate fudge with mint filling and Peppermint Moacha frosting. The girl is sitting on a bed of crushed candy canes. The top tier was vanilla cake with chocolate fudge pudding filling and vanilla BC frosting. Snow flakes were fondant/gumpaste.

Mom's Bday Cake
This cake drove me nuts. I tend to over do and I swore I wouldn't on this cake and well, I did anyway. I ended up adding some slivered almonds here and there on it that looked like butterflies but can't find the pics of that right now. My Mom loved it. It was a pistachio pound cake with almond/butter BC frosting.
