Ballerina Barbie
This was made using the idea from several other inspiring cakes from this site and other sites. I used the Garrett ruffle cutter to help make the ruffles for the top layer and then used one of the flower tools to roll each ruffle out. I stuffed tissue in the very top layer to get the wavy effect. The only thing I didn't take into consideration was the length between the Barbie's torso and her legs.....she has an extremely long torso! oh well....everyone loved it.

The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy
My niece and I made this for my son's wedding. He goes by Billy (not really his name, long story) and his new wife's name is Amanda (Mandy), My son wanted this wacky cake. He had to have flames and toxic green. The rest was up to me. So, we did the flames. The pink tier was for Mandy. She wears a pink shirt with a yellow flower. The next tier was for Billy. He wears a white shirt with a blue stripe and red shoes. The top tier was the toxic green with a scalloped border, the rest of the gumpaste flowers and black leaves. The cake was poundcake covered in ganache. The cake was a hit, especially with the bride and groom!

50Th Wedding Anniversary
I made this for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The cake top is their original cake top. The flowers are gumpaste and the swag is fondant. I still cake seem to get the hang of covering the cakes without the fondant then sagging on the sides. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
