My Daughter Jo's Wedding Cake 7/7/07
This was a fun cake to do. My sister & I put it together. Everyone enjoyed the multiple of flavors used. White w/ Strawberry filling, White w/ Lemon, Carrot w/ Cream Cheese, Chocolate w/ Caramel (Carmel is tricky we tried to make it from scratch, it tasted awful, we ended up with a different filling & throwing the caramel away next time I'll just use that nummy ice cream topping!) The fountain was one bought from the garden center at Walmart then spray painted and glittered, then filled with crystal rocks.

My First Halloween Cake!
This one is totally my own original Idea. The Book and All the figures are hand sculpted form candy clay (the recipie I found here) and the cake is frosted in Buttercream Dream (also from here). I hope you all like the cake. It was so fun to do! The idea was to have the graveyard to appear out of the pages of the book with fog around the graveyard. Cotton Candy I thought was the perfect solution to use for fog...wrong! In the air for any length of time al all and the sugar crystalizes and loses its fluff.

Dad's Cake
Iwas complaining to my mother that I'd lost my touch and was going to stop cake decorating, she gave me a challenge of doing a waterfall cake, I used pulled sugar and the waterfall was good. I sculpted bears from candy clay and piped candy clay tree trunks with royal. I'm still doing cake. Thanks mom!

Stacy's Cake
I made this cake for my daughter, I saw the idea browsing the web, but my imatation looks very little like the beautiful cake I modeled it from. I hand sculpted the characters from candy clay, and true to my character embellished adding my own fairy godmother & horses. I changed the wheels completely and shouldn't have. Truth is the whole cake would have been better but i got time crunched putting it together. Stacy said she loved the cake, but shes my baby girl, what else would she say.
