Purr-Fect Cake
My co-worker wanted a cake for 2 family members, who both LOVE Cats! I made a choc. devil's food cake with vanilla frosting. She wanted it to say Hope Your Birthday is Purr-fect on it...but I have terrible cake penmanship, and had to take it off and "grass" the whole top to cover it. Wrote it on the board instead! She loved it anyway! Also, these were my first fondant figures...not too bad ;0)

Polka Dots
This cake didn't travel well :0( It started slipping some, tried to repair it..too bad, it really looked cute last night. I didn't have the chance to take pictures of it, but we placed little faux "mudslides" near it. Put pink sugar on rim of glasses, drizzled choc., then added choc. mousse and strawberries... My cell phone went out... It had the potential of being cute..

Baby Cake
Made this for my beautiful little niece Jillian! Used fondant in mold for baby faces, and painted them. Flowers are also fondant...Just learned the joy of Satin Ice, jeez that makes things way easier then the kind you get from Wiltons! It's actually the first cake I'm really proud of!! hope you like!

2008 Graduating Survivor
I posted this earlier today. It was really blurry and so I went to delete the photo and then I was going to update it, however once you delete, you can't make changes... So, thanks Dixiegal01 for the kind comments... For some kids, good grades come easy, for others not so much... So I made this cake for my nephew's graduation party...he's a really smart kid, he just doesn't always apply himself! Anyway, I thought it was a cute theme ;0)

First Attempt At A Stacked Cake
This is my second attempt at cake decorating, i definitely need to take a course...used stiff icing to frost my cake with...the result of which the bottom layer of my cake started to come off with each stroke. did my best to disquise it, but still looks a little messy. oh well, you live and learn... :0)
