My daughter was devastated to have to go to school on Halloween her very favorite day of the year... so i bought some cupcakes, and decorated them for her classmates, to tempt her to go! The "blood" should have been just icing sugar... but there was only a spoonful left in packet, typical, so i improvised with ,was raspberry jam (jelly you'd say) mixed with some mini marshmallows & colouring. Eyeballs made with white choc 'Malteesers' (English candy) and blob of green fondant & black piped icing. x x x
White chocolate 'Malteesers' ... English candy, with little rounds of painted fondant & piped black icing. The leaves were made with an excellent little cutter, and marbled black & green icing. (3 different shades to get the effect) I cut holes in the grape coloured icing with the lid of a bottle of food colouring! and set the round sweets into them with more black icing.So sad the cake was served in the dark at outdoor party, they had forgotten to organize any lights! or plates, but it tasted good!
Made in London, England! My 2nd ever 'real cake'! 3 layers of maderia cake ( 1 tinted green, 2 marbled red & white). The pumpkin (second attempt) was my favorite part. Sadly cake was served in the dark... so no-one saw it!
