My first time using fondant! I was soooo nervous. Frosted the cake with buttercream then covered with fondant...decorated with fondant cut outs and purple and yellow fondant pearls/balls. That adorable high heeled shoe is really a christmas ornament that I used as a cake topper!
I took a short basic decorating class, and this was my final project! I frosted the cake to look like a basket and FILLED it with roses!! You could say I was pretty impressed with myself when I learned to pipe roses. ;)
I cheated a bit on this one! I bought the "Cars" cake pan, but had a great time decorating it! It seemed a bit small so I made matching cupcakes to place around it.
I made this cake for my daughter's 3rd Birthday. She was having a princess party and wanted a Cinderella cake. She absolutely loved it and each layer was a different flavor. (White, Strawberry, Funfetti) We didn't need such a large cake, but it really fit the party!
I whipped up this cake using Breeze's favorite colors (blue, green, purple) as my inspiration! I thought it was just a fun looking cake, like her personality!
