This was a last minute groom's cake. The mother of the groom called me a week and a half before the wedding and said that the bride didn't know she was supposed to order the groom's cake when she ordered the wedding cake. LOL. So, she was frantically trying to find someone who would do it. The baseballs are hand-rolled out of fondant with royal icing stitching piped on them. The "grass", foul lines, and bases are also made out of fondant. Iced in chocolate buttercream. Thanks for looking!
I wanted to upload a different picture of this cake. It was the first wedding cake I had done. I was also the matron of honor and the reception was held at my parent's house so I was very stressed about how I was going to get it set up. Luckily, there was a lady who offered to help who is a cake decorator also and she assembled it for me. The flowers are silk and I made all the arrangements myself. I never noticed until I looked at the pictures that the top tier was put on backwards. : (

This was my first time doing a FBCT. Turned out fairly decent. Cornelli lace could have been better but after frosting the cake 4 different times, I was so tired! Thanks for looking!
This was just a practice cake, trying to get better with fondant. I am much happier with the way this one turned out, only second time covering a cake in fondant.
This was my first attempt using fondant and also my first attempt working with gumpaste. I'm not real happy with the way it turned out, but with it being my first time I guess it's not too bad. Luckily, it wasn't for a paying customer.
This was a "just for fun" cake for my husband's birthday. It is red velvet with a crusting cream cheese icing. I had been wanting to do a swirl cake so I figured his birthday would be a perfect excuse!

This was the first wedding cake I have ever done. I did it for my sister's wedding using the wilton tall tiers stand. It is done in all buttercream with silk flowers in between the layers. The cakes were french vanilla with lemon filling and strawberry with strawberry filling.
