Chocolate mudcake, a lot of hours work put into this cake I have learnt a lot from this cake, and know where i went wrong, I also learnt i would never do this cake again unless of course someone was willing to pay over $450 for it.
This was my first wedding cake......two 7 inch cakes stacked on two 12 inch cakes, tried to make the cakes look like gifts. Used Fondx to cover this cake.
I made this cake for my sons second birthday, white mud cake body, chocolate mud cake for his arms and legs, butter cake for his head, the blocks are fruit cake covered with marzipan and fondant, used royal icing first to keep him nice and firm then iced with butter cream, my son loved it . ( Photo was taken after little fingers had already poked him )
