1st Birthday cake for my baby girl. Both tiers are chocolate mud cake and filled with ganache and raspberry IMBC and covered in IMBC. It was my first time making and using gumpaste, I enjoyed it, I think Pooh and Piglet are very sweet :)
A cake I made for a Sisterhood day, it is a copy of their symbol. It's a lemon cream cake, very yum. Yes that's a Pentacle, and buttercream roses. The women loved it
Always wanted to know if I could make my own wedding cake, not that I'm getting married anytime soon lol I know the board isn't perfect, but the kids and I were the only ones to see it :) The cake is vanilla with lemon curd and cream inbetween the layers. I love making buttercream rose!
We had so much fun making this cake! The cake is spice cake with blackberry filling and cream cheese frosting (absolutely yum!) and the 'critters' and flowers are made from MMF, not the best thing for making figures but it was all I had. Miss 13 made the rabbit (thanks to Liis' guide) Miss 11 made the squirrel and the most adorable moose I've ever seen (thanks to sbachorosk) I made the tree stump, flowers, bird and teddy (thanks to Liis again) Every time I look at the cake I giggle, we love it :)
