Toy Story / Farm Animal Cake

My granddaughter wanted a Toy Story / farm cake so this is what I came up with. thanks to all of you at CC for ideas. bottom cake is 14x14 yellow/choc marbled and ganache filling with BC frosting. Round cake is 10" gluten free carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.Toy story logo, etch a sketch, Mr. Potato head and chatty phone are fondant. Thanks for looking and really welcome all comments. Very much a novice and only do my grandkids cakes.

Farm Animal Cake

For granddaughters 2nd birthday she wanted a farm animal cake and toy story cake. So on one side I made the barn and animals all out of fondant. The cake is 14 x14 yellow/choc marbled cake with ganache filling and BC frosting. Top is 10" round gluten free carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. sun on top is Styrofoam . Thank you for looking I will post Toy Story cake separately. I am still very much a novice and love getting ideas from all of you.

Chocolate And More Chocolate

Two tier chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and chocolate frosting. Second tier has handmade chocolate truffles and top is choc. truffles attached to a cone shaped form which was covered in choc, this sits on a metal base. This was inspired by a cake by MS wedding fall 2002 (Gateaux de Mariage: Croquemboche). TFL

First Birthday

10" carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and 7" gluten free carrot cake with cc frosting. All decorations are made out of fondant. Thanks to the Pinkcakebox for the inspiration. This was for my granddaughters first birthday. Her cake 6" was also a gluten free carrot cake with ccf. Any comments are welcome. TFL

5Th Birthday Carnival Theme

Thank you CC for your inspiration. I just found your site and can"t get enough. This is my first try at this. Since I only make one cake a year for my grand nephew, I know I need all the help I can get, The bottom cake is 10" yellow, then 8" carrot cake and the popcorn box is RCT with marshmallow popcorn painted with food color . All frosted in BC with CRF accents. First time using the choc, fondant. TYFL

Scarecrow

Used a large sheet cake pan and carved out design for body. Use half ball pan for head. The crows are made with rice crispy treats. All was covered in rolled fondant.
