My First Fondant Roses!
...and my first stacked cake. I won't show the whole picture, because I'm slightly embarrassed. But I'm really pleased with how the roses turned out! It was 8" on bottom, 6" on top. Chocolate with chocolate mousse filling and vanilla buttercream. Putting the dowels in went better than I thought, but still nerve-wracking! TFL!

Computer Cake
I made this for my BF and his associates. The numbers underneath the group's logo is computer code for "Have some cake". I should have finished the Matrix-y design around the side, but it was late, I was tired, and as soon as I started it, I thought: "Really?! ALL the way around?! Pffff." Chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. TFL.

Birthday Cake!
I made this for a friend/co-worker. Chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. My camera's not all that great, so those two white orbs you see are supposed to be roses. Everyone loved it, and one of my bosses even seemed suspicious of it being from a bakery! I made it for free (obviously), but if anyone feels like throwing in their two cents about how much they would charge for something like this, please do. I never know what to charge. Three layered, 10". Thanks for looking!

This Cake Is From The Fiery Pits Of Hell
This is the very first cake I've ever made alone. It took me, oh I don't know, six or seven hours. It was supposed to be a more elaborate, transfer design. But that didn't work, so I had to scrape off all the icing and just freestyle two dandelions. I feel silly even posting this, but this whole decorating thing is a journey for me. So it SHOULD be documented. I'm happy with it, but this thing was pure evil to make! Plain white with vanilla BC.
