Unicorn/tiara Cake
My daughter wanted a unicorn/tiara/rainbow/pink cake so that is what she got for her 4th birthday! I just used funfeti cake mix for the "rainbow" and added a lemon cream filling between the layers. The pink icing is a whipped butter cream (similar to Kroger icing). The flowers, bow, and unicorn are all just plain fondant that I made ahead of time. The tiara (from a dollar store) and candles are the only non-edible part of the cake

Tinkerbell Cake
This was my train-wreck attempt at a tinkerbell cake. I got my royal icing way too thin and warm so my flowers were falling off faster than I could do them :( This cake was for my youngest' 2nd birthday. It's a white cake with lemon curd filling and wedding icing. The flowers are royal, bow is fondant/gumpaste, and the toppers are fake. I so need more practice or lessons!

Nana's 73Rd Birthday Cake
This is a simple cake I made for my husband's grandmother. It's a white cake with a blackberry filling. The icing is a mixture of royal icing (flowers) and a wedding cake icing (rest of the cake) that I got from a caterer that turned out absolutely delicious! I'd never done flowers on a cake before so I was happy with out it turned out.

This is a caterpillar cake that I made for my baby's 1st birthday. The small caterpillar was made using a small wilton wonder mold and the larger caterpiller was made using the larger wonder mold. I alternated each one w/ chocolate and vanilla cakes and iced them in buttercream icing. I had 2 small ones left so I made them into chocolate icing butterflies and used pipe cleaners for the wings.

Wilton Princess Castle
This is a cake I made for my daughter's 4th birthday. The cake is from the 2008 Wilton Castle kit. I used normal vanilla cake with white buttercream icing. The purple is in royal icing and purple sugar sprinkles. The flowers are just fake wedding flowers I found at Michaels and attached to the towers w/ green icing that I also used for the leaves
