Nightmare Cake
This was a wedding gift to my cousin. I had nightmares about this cake for a week before making it because I had never made such a big cake. Thank God everything went well with the delivery which took over an hour on a very bumpy expressway. The only difficult part was figuring out how to get it up 15 steps at the hotel entrance with a very uncooperate and rude hotel staff. But my husband and I made it in one piece and the bride and groom loved the cake. Glad it's over.... now I can sleep again. LOL

Anna's Dad
My friend asked me to duplicate a painting that her dad did for his birthday. I tried to do it with my brand new airbrush but that didn't go very well because I had no clue how to use it. I ripped off the fondant and started over by just using paintbrushes. I really have to learn to use the airbrush.....

Merry Christmas
I was delusional in thinking that after a day of cooking and baking for a Christmas party tomorrow, that I would have time to make a topper for this cake. My original plans were to make a sleeping santa as I was inspired by all the adorable cakes on CC, but by the time I finished the cake, I was exhausted and just added a cupcake ornament that I had laying around.

Miami Dolphins Football
This is my second football cake. I thought it would be easier than the first but it was just as challenging, if not, more than the first. I used Sylvia Weinstock's recipe which I use all the time for carving and it started to break apart when I was tapering the form. I put two halves together (from the Wilton pans) and it looks to deflated and flat so I tried to give it some dimension and as I was carving I started to see huge cracks form. Needless to say, I patched this baby up with some buttercream.

Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs
All hand molded except for Snow White which was given to me by the birthday girl's aunt who ordered the cake. This was so fun to make. I used Debbie Brown's book for a guide on modeling. Her books are awesome for fondant modeling because it gives you step by step instructions.

Cu-Cake Bouquet
Thank you Cambo for your awesome tutorial which I used to make this cupcake bouquet. I made it for a bake sale at work and only sold a few cupcakes because the customers did not know it was edible. When we pointed it out to customers they would say "oh, I thought it was a decoration." LOL I didn't raise alot of money but it sure made a hit with the girls in the office.
