My aunt invited my family over for a BBQ and i felt like I should bring a cake to share with everyone. So I made this cake. It was fun to make and is a chocolate cake filled with brandied cherries and whipped cream. It is covered with BC icing then covered again and decorated with fondant. Big hit!
This was made for my parents wedding anniversary. It was iced with BC icing then covered in fondant.
Buttercream icing used on the cake (except for clounds and quilt those were fondant). The top cake was vanilla and the bottom was chocolate. Both were filled with BC icing.
This cake has a basketweave on the sides, but I'm not sure if you can see it or not. Filled with strawberries and whip cream. A HUGE hit!
